What’s Next in the World of Work?
This is a question that I have asked myself so many times recently and it seems like there are a lot of us with this question in mind.
Let’s help each other to write the new rules and the to-do things for adapting to the change.
2020, I think it’s fair to say that this is a year we are all going to look back on and think my goodness!
“Things did Change from a Global Pandemic to Natural Disasters, Catastrophic Events (like Beirut port blast, gas leaks etc.,), Community Issues, there is a lot’s in flex”.
But, when it comes to work, there are many companies that have opted to working from home.
Is that going to continue? So, What’s the NEW NORMAL? How do we cop with this change?
Sharing our thoughts with you how we can reinvent or re-imagining this world of work.
We know that workspace is not going to be the same anymore.
Well, the first thing that’s on our mind is that whatever it is that’s next is not what it was before. There’s no return to the status quo like before and we have entered a New Era. Considering the past experiences, practices, beliefs principles that were true at work for long time (like formals, professionalism) now seems to change. This is so interesting that we are experiencing every day as we are most disconnected because we’re all on screens all the time in our homes. But, also in many ways we are in the most authentic and most human simultaneously.
As now, we’re having meetings with interruptions, with family members around us, kids doing homework in the background, with yard noise.
This moment of reflection and reinvention we are the most human and real to each other an interact without any professional mask for the first time in a century which is incredibly powerful. This New Normal of being different in all these dimensions that make us more human and more connected while also being more disconnected. It is so true that on these calls, it’s such a different experience like you see somebody’s kid comes in, while they are in these busy meetings they pause for a moment and have a lovely chat with this little one. In fact, we have seen more CEOs in t-shirts in last few months than in their entire profession career.
We should learn to Co-Exist while amalgamating the profession aspect of you and maintaining your human factor as your Home is your nest where you unmask yourself and be who you are.!!
With all this changes that 2020 bought us, knowingly or unknowingly we might feel Stressed.!!

Maintain a hopeful outlook. It’s not hard to be positive: When life isn’t going your way. An optimistic outlook empowers you to expect that good things will happen to you. Try visualizing what you want, rather than worrying about what you fear. Along the way, note any subtle ways in which you start to feel better as you deal with difficult situations.
